They provide helpful and educational information such as the geographical display of walkways, walking sections, time required to master a particular area, recommended walking speed, guidelines for identifying activity intensity and subjective perception of effort (Borg scale with measurement of heart rate - pulse).
Besides walking by the sea, we encourage our patients and clients to explore other beauties of Opatija, such as the newly renovated American Gardens. The American Gardens are located directly above Thalassotherapia Opatija, stretching over 8,000 square meters. With the most beautiful view of Kvarner, they tell the story of the love of a Hungarian merchant who built them in memory of his wife.
